Creating Our Version of Thanos
We set out to create a narrative journey that players could follow at the start of the year that would spawn over six months into our summer event. The story kicked off with the introduction of Viego, known as the Ruined King after having gone mad from the quest to bring back his deceased wife from the dead. We wanted to create our version of Thanos - an almighty super powerful villain that would require an Avenger's moment to take down. As a part of this narrative journey, I was specifically managing the release of Gwen, a new champion to League that was deeply related to the narrative journey of Viego. We decided to put together an emotional narrative mograph to share more about Viego's story and how a part of his late wife's soul brought one of her hand made dolls to life.
